Autumn Bliss in Japan Part 2 - Pokemon Centre

Continued from last post...we now head to Pokemon Centre Tokyo.

From Asakusa station, we took the train to Daimon. The night before, I had googled the location to Pokemon Centre.

I had also made use of a very handy app from iTunes app store called Trains.JP on my iphone. It lets you searches for trains offline. It gave me some route options of how to get to Daimon from Asakusa station. I was pretty much offline in Japan, except for when there was hotspots and free wifi available and then whenever we were back at the hotel. So this app was really very handy with trains lines and fares required.

We came out of this exit to go to Sensoji Temple in Asakusa. I had the best Teriyaki burger in the Burger King outlet, in the photo. It was almost as good the Teriyaki burger I had in Orange Julius in Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii many many years ago.

From where we stood out of the subway exit, we could see Tokyo SkyTree up ahead. I would recommend that you use the Trains JP application. It got us to most places and getting to Daimon was so easy. Once you are at Daimon, follow these instructions below.

●Hamamatsucho Stn. 2min. Go out the North Exit and cross the street. Go right, cross the road and turn left. Pokemon Center Tokyo will be in a building on the right on the 2nd Floor.
●Daimon Stn. 2min. From B1, go straight and cross the road. Turn left and Pokemon Center Tokyo will be in a building on the right on the 2nd floor.
●JR, Tokyo Monorail, Oedo, Asakusa, Yurikamome Line(s)
●Shiodome Shibarikyu Building 2F, 1-2-3 Kaigan, Shiodome, Minato-ku, Tokyo 105-0022

Visitors, take note: There is a 7 Eleven store on the ground level with an ATM inside the shop. There are not too many ATMs to be seen in Japan, so when you do see one, you should always withdraw some cash. Most small businesses and shop and eating places in Japan only accept cash. Hotels and Department stores will accept credit cards.

Someone was very happy with his purchase and you know what they say, a happy boy makes for a happy Mummy when travelling together :)

To be continued.... not much food porn yet, I know right? I am saving it for the food post later! Next stop Kyoto... where we spend three days and two nights exploring Kyoto.
